What is 'Caulking'?
Caulking is the process of applying a sealant to gaps and cracks to your home’s exterior or interior. It serves as a barrier to keep cold air, water, air, dust, and pests from entering your home. Caulking is an essential step in maintaining the overall health and comfort of your home.
The most important point is that no matter how well built a house is, all houses have air leaking in one way or the other coming from the cracks and crevices where one material meets another. If enough water, humidity, or air come in through these gaps, the structural integrity of your house is at risk. It can cause mold, heat loss, moisture development, insects/rodents to come in, and many other bad things that is harmful to your home.

How much is my house going to cost to recaulk?Every building and house is different. If it's a private residential home, we count the windows and doors per opening. If it is a commercial or industrial unit, or even a new construction home, we usually charge by linear feet. We also look into material costs and other additions. We always ensure we give our clients the best possible prices for our services, along with a 10-year warranty on all of our exterior caulking.

How long will it take to finish to recaulk my whole house?It depends on the size of your house. But usually we can finish a whole house in one day from morning to afternoon. If there are additional services to the job, such as extra aluminum capping, caulking, etc., the job can take up to two days. At the end of day, we have a professional crew with full insurance and certifications to do the proper job both efficiently and professionally.
